The first conference of 2016 is almost upon us and to be honest we are pretty excited about it.
What with the announcement and release of Connections 5.5 and Docs 2.0 before Christmas – we are really looking forward to seeing the what’s next? sessions.
Talking of sessions – wow the agenda is packed with LOADS of good stuff. IBM have listened to the feedback taken over the past couple of years and they have split off the panels, ( which to be fair non of us techie types are interested in), into their own sessions, there are a tonne of admin and dev sessions, lots of whats new and how do i? sessions – totally impressed at the schedule. A very busy few days will be had.
A new venue too at the Hilton Orlando off destination park way (very close to sea world – almost walking distance) – the venue looks great, massive rooms, lots of meeting space – the only thing that concerns is the bars and social areas look a lot smaller that the *swolphin* – is the hilton ready for the *crowd* – time will tell.
All in all though – really looking forward to it .. see you in 22 sleeps 🙂 Check out more info on the IBM Connect 2016 site

Thanks once again to everyone who nominated and to IBM for picking an amazing bunch of people.
Our favourite IBM Connections product manager is releasing a series of blog posts on what code and products were used in his Keynote / OGS demo at Connect.
I must admit I was impressed and only yesterday I blogged on my personal blog that I wished we knew more on what products made up the OGS demos.
Great post by Luis, can’t wait to read the rest of the series

Cube Soft is now an IBM Business Partner.
Working closely with IBM has always been something Sharon has been very passionate about. We try to be a part of as many beta and design programs as possible to help feed back to IBM how we are using the products *in the real world* and to assist with improvements to the documentation.
We are hoping that this will continue now with Cube Soft in the future.
